A cup of coffee is never just a product. It is the culmination of labor, knowledge, climate, global markets – and deeply human stories.
This documentary explores the lives of female smallholder coffee farmers in Santa Avelina, San Juan Cotzal (Quiché, Guatemala). The film offers an intimate look at how climate change, fair trade, and the volatility of global markets shape their daily lives.
At its heart are the voices of the women themselves – sharing their perspectives on work, resilience, and the uncertain future of coffee production.
